Einari Vidgrén Foundation Awards Responsible Forestry Professionals
20 years ago, Einari Vidgrén, the founder of Ponsse Plc, established a foundation bearing his name to highlight Finnish forest know-how in terms of logging. In June, the Foundation will once again reward distinguished forestry experts. This year, the Foundation is looking for responsible logging professionals, whose work focuses on the broad range of forest machinery and forestry skills, as well as sustainable development.

Ponsse's 55th anniversary year: The 21,000th forest machine was manufactured in Vieremä factory
In 2025, it will be 55 years since forest machine entrepreneur Einari Vidgren founded a forest machine factory in Vieremä, Finland. The anniversary year will start on a high note as the 21,000th PONSSE forest machine has been manufactured and will be delivered on February 6[th], 2025, to Scheff Logging & Trucking Inc. from Minnesota, USA.

Ponsse is the third most reputable company in Finland in 2024. A survey by T-Media reveals that the most reputable companies in 2024 among Finns are KONE and Fazer. A total of 10 575 citizens responded to this year's survey.
