Ponsse Plc´s Customer letter on 20th of March, 2020

Dear Customer,

Uncertainty over the global coronavirus situation continues. We are doing everything we can to ensure that our customer services and operations can continue as normal. It is very important to us to protect the health of our personnel and stakeholders, and we are carrying out various measures to help prevent the epidemic from spreading.

You can still contact our sales and other customer service functions normally. However, we ask you to contact us by telephone, via email or by using remote connections, whenever possible. We will reduce face-to-face meetings both inside and outside Ponsse to ensure uninterrupted operations.

We have cancelled customer visits, trips and group training for the time being, including our 50th anniversary roadshow. No member of our personnel is permitted to travel abroad, and we will also avoid any trips between our different locations. Most of our office employees are working remotely at present. We have requested customers to contact our service businesses by using remote connections whenever possible and especially if they have been abroad during the past two weeks or have any flu symptoms.

However, we have issued a profit warning through the stock exchange, as it is possible in this uncertain situation that we cannot reach our financial targets. We have also initiated employee co-operation negotiations. Even though problems in the availability of components seem likely, we will keep our production in operation to the largest possible extent. If we are forced to limit our factory’s operations and the delivery of your machine is at the risk of being delayed, we will contact you immediately.

We are constantly monitoring the development of the coronavirus situation and will keep you updated on our operations. We will do our best to maintain our customer service level to prevent your business operations from being endangered in this challenging situation.

Let’s stay in touch and healthy!

PONSSE PLC
